Christian Formation for all Ages
Sunday School
Learning about God and the teachings of Jesus is a life-long experience. Each year adults and children are encouraged to participate in a variety of learning experiences from classroom settings to hands on activities. Here are some of the Christian Formation opportunities at St. Paul’s.
Worship
One of the major formation experiences at St. Paul’s is found in our corporate worship time. For children there is a chapel time each Sunday which includes prayers, music and a bible story. Parents or older youth lead this worship time. On the first Sunday of the month there is a Family Eucharist.
Throughout the year special liturgies are used to broaden and deepen our connections with God and with one another. There is a Christingle service in Advent, outdoor services in the summer, and a St. Francis service in October to name a few.
Lenten Program
During the five weeks of Lent a mid-week Adult formation program is offered each year. Topics vary from Biblical inquiry to tradition based studies. This popular program begins with a soup dinner and ends with Compline.
